Johnny and Emmy didn’t set out to become reporters.

They rode into Lonesome Pine looking for quiet… and instead found corruption, serpent tunnels, abandoned schoolhouses humming with 80s echoes, and ghosts that apparently keep their own schedules.

After uncovering the mess behind “Lies, Snakes & Dynamite,” the town needed someone to tell the truth plainly, weekly, and without fear. Sheriff Hank suggested them. Clara supported them. Delbert muttered something about “destiny.” And Buck built the printing press before they could say no.

Now the pair serve as the eyes and ears of the Coyote Gazette, investigating everything from strange lights on the ridge to shadowy figures in the church ruins. Part reporters, part accidental ghost-hunters, part town guardians — the two travel wherever the story leads, lantern in one hand and notebook in the other.

Johnny tends to rush toward danger. Emmy tends to notice the danger he missed. Together, they’ve kept Lonesome Pine informed, unsettled, and surprisingly entertained.

If something moves in the dark, whispers in the wind, or makes a sound it shouldn’t — Johnny & Emmy will be there first… and they’ll write it down before it gets away.
